I’ve been hearing so much about this artist all over the internet and for this to be her first release of the year is pretty exciting. I’m expecting big things!
“Flames” – David Guetta, Sia

I love everything that Sia puts out and I don’t think it will ever change. Can we please get new music from her soon?
“Hide” – Rainbow Kitten Surprise

After seeing this band land pretty high on Lolla’s lineup, I knew I had to check them out Don’t let their name mislead you (I honestly judged and thought it was an electronic act of sorts), but they’re actually super alternative/indie rock and have been making music since 2013. I guess I’ve been out of the loop!
“These Days” – Wallows

I’ve been hearing stuff about Wallows for the past month or so and realized that one of the actors from Thirteen Reasons Why is in the band. They landed on the Lolla lineup and I knew I had to sit down and listen. This is their newest single and I’m into it!
“Waiting For You” – The Aces
Release Date – March 23
I know I keep adding songs by The Aces on almost every New Music Sunday playlist but I’m seriously loving all of their releases! Their album drops on April 6 and I’m super amped. Side note: I was happy to see them land on the Lolla lineup this year!
“Roots” – Kasbo ft. Amanda Fondell
Release Date – March 23
I featured a song by Kasbo a few weeks back and listened to a few songs on his album that came out this week. This one stood out to me.
“Shotgun” – George Ezra

I LOVED George Ezra’s debut album a few years ago but I haven’t loved his newest singles. I did listen to his album that came out this week and liked a few and thought a few were just okay. But this is one that I really enjoyed!
“thoughts & prayers” – Grandson

A timely release from Grandson, a band I have featured a couple times in previous posts. Give it a listen if it’s all you do today.
“High Horse” – Kacey Musgraves

I know I say I don’t like country but I absolutely love Kacey Musgraves. Her new album is out next week and I can’t wait. She’s also on the line of country pop, so if you’re debating, just listen. She will be touring with Harry Styles soon also!
“Differently” – Marian Hill

I haven’t loved everything that Marian Hill has released but they definitely have some gems, and I’m loving their newest release!
“Lost In Japan” – Shawn Mendes

Can we give Shawn Mendes the love and respect he deserves for making good radio music? This song is a serious JAM.
“Twentytwo” – Sunflower Bean

Are you looking for a Fleetwood Mac revival like me? HERE IT IS. Sunflower Bean just released a new album so I will be listening to it all soon! This song kills.
