BIZZY Makes Bad Decisions on a Good Song in “Don’t Tell the Girls”

No one can be perfect all the time, and that includes Nashville singer BIZZY, who sings about making a truly terrible choice—going back to a lame ex—in her latest single “Don’t Tell the Girls.”

The song, which was released today via Big Loud Rock, captures the instantly relatable feeling of totally messing up in your adolescence. Who among us can’t relate to making some pretty bad choices in our 20’s? For BIZZY, the single is about falling back in love with an ex who admittedly sucks, and who all her friends can’t stand. Hence the song’s title, she’s trying to keep that information from her friends.

The Nashville singer is known for her confessional, relatable and fun songs, including the 2024 single “Tastes Like Shit,” about how shitty the experience of getting a taste of your own medicine is, especially after wronging an ex.

“Don’t Tell the Girls” is a fun and energetic indie pop track, with a danceable, guitar-heavy earworm of a chorus, showcasing that even when you’re making bad decisions, you can still have a pretty fun time.

BIZZY will be touring throughout North America supporting British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri. The tour, which stops in 16 cities throughout the United States and in Canada, kicks off May 9 in Washington D.C. and concludes in Atlanta on June 10.

“Don’t Tell the Girls” is available on all streaming platforms.
