This past Friday, November 1st, Irish indie rockers Inhaler brought their tour to the historic Hollywood Palladium for a night to remember. Playing to a sold-out house, the band delivered a show that struck the perfect balance between powerful energy and raw intimacy. The use of low lighting and close-up stage effects created a warm, almost personal feel that drew fans into the experience. A sense of closeness gave the impression of a small club show rather than a concert for thousands—a feat not every band can pull off in a venue of this size.
The setlist blended fan favorites and exciting teasers from their upcoming album, Open Wide. The crowd roared in excitement when the band played “Your House,” their recently released single from the new album. The live rendition gave the track even more edge, showing off the band’s ability to translate studio recordings into something rawer and more visceral on stage. This song and the other new track from Open Wide hinted at a slightly different direction for the band, sparking even more excitement among fans.
One of the most thrilling moments of the night came during “Dublin in Ecstasy,” Elijah Hewson, the band’s charismatic frontman, took his performance to the next level by diving into the crowd. During the instrumental break, he jumped off the stage, choosing a lucky fan from the front row and interacting with others along the barricade. Fans in the pit went wild, feeling the pulse of the song amplified by Elijah’s closeness and energy. This wasn’t just a performance; it was a full-blown shared experience that demonstrated the band’s commitment to connecting with their audience. Inhaler’s dynamic energy onstage and the effortless charm among the band members—lead vocalist Elijah Hewson, guitarist Josh Jenkinson, bassist Robert Keating, and drummer Ryan McMahon—kept the crowd hanging on every beat.

After an exhilarating main set, the band took a brief exit from the stage, leaving fans chanting, “One more song!” and “Encore!” The chants grew louder, filling the entire venue with anticipation. Inhaler returned to the stage, launching into a brand-new track – yet to be released, “Open Wide,” and the fan favorite “My Honest Face” to close out the night. This show’s finale was a high-energy hint at what’s to come, especially with the recent news that the band will extend their world tour with new dates across Europe, and Japan in early 2025. This encore choice felt like a fitting farewell for now but also a tantalizing glimpse into their future.

With their upcoming album set to drop on February 7th, fans have something big to look forward to. For now, “Your House” is available for streaming on all major platforms, letting fans relive a piece of the magic from last night’s performance. Those who missed the show can live vicariously through live streams shared by other fans online, but nothing can compare to the electricity Inhaler brought to Los Angeles. The concert was a reminder of the band’s unstoppable rise and their knack for creating unforgettable live experiences. Inhaler is on the brink of something big, and if last night’s show was any indication, they’re more than ready to take the world by storm.
